Cosmic Doll Runway Coming to Meeting of Styles San Diego

For over twenty years, I have been building a universe filled with Cosmic Dolls, beings of light, dreamers, rebels, artists, and visionaries. What began as paintings, illustrations, and characters living inside my imagination is now taking a giant leap into the physical world.

On July 18, 2026, I will present the Cosmic Doll Runway at Meeting of Styles San Diego, one of the world’s most recognized mural festivals. This special activation will transform my original characters into living works of art through fashion, body painting, makeup effects, wigs, performance, and storytelling.

The runway will feature a cast of models representing beloved Cosmic Doll characters, including Tootsie, Holly, Briana, Jezebel, Lizeth, Sophia, Calo, and the Ambassador of Ethenz. Each character has their own personality, history, and place within the ever-expanding Cosmic Doll universe.

This year’s Meeting of Styles theme celebrates creativity, imagination, and Comic-Con culture, making it the perfect stage for these larger-than-life characters to step out of the paintings and into reality.

A key part of bringing these characters to life is the incredible team behind the scenes. Special effects makeup artist Kelton Ching is leading a team of talented makeup artists who will transform each model into a living Cosmic Doll through elaborate body painting, makeup effects, and character design. Their work will blur the line between fine art, fantasy, and reality.

The project will also feature original fashion and accessories from Yokai Decadence, whose imaginative designs help elevate the visual storytelling of the runway. From custom styling elements to the Ambassador of Ethenz’s ethereal gown and headpiece, Yokai Decadence is helping bring the Cosmic Doll universe into the physical world.

Together with models, photographers, artists, designers, and community partners, we are creating an immersive experience that blends fine art, fashion, cosplay, storytelling, and public art into one unforgettable presentation.

As an artist living with fibromyalgia and schizoaffective disorder, this project is especially meaningful to me. It represents perseverance, imagination, and the belief that creativity can thrive despite challenges. The Cosmic Doll Runway is proof that ambitious ideas can become reality when a community comes together to support them.

Attendees can expect colorful characters, elaborate transformations, original fashion, photo opportunities, and a glimpse into the growing world of the Cosmic Dolls and the Zovereignty Galaxy.

This is more than a runway show.

It is a celebration of imagination.

It is a living art installation.

It is the next chapter in the Cosmic Doll universe.
